Tired of all the ads included by Comcast on your email page ?

Anybody esle really tired of all the ads on your email page ?  Anybody know how to stop it ?

I though I pay for this service, (some) free email services don't have all this junk.

The email service is a perk meaning you don't pay for it but the best way to remove the ads is to use Firefox or Chrome with AdBlock.

You can collapse the ad by clicking on the black arrow, viewing that message, but it does not free up the space My antivirus also blocks the ads.

You are certainly not limited to using Smartzone for your email because you have comcast as your isp.  You can use the email client of your choice, Gmail, Yahoo, that is up to you.

PS  Ads are also in another isp's email programs, not only Comcast.

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

Violet exclaimed, probably without expectation of further assistance, "Yes, I am!!!"

There are three remedies for defeating the advertisements you see on the Comcast SmartZone user Interface:

1) Ignore them;

2) Use your Hosts file to block the several ad servers; or

3) Use an E-mail client running on your computer to access your Comcast E-Mail account(s).
