Re: having troble logging in on my e-mail says error 400 what do i do?

I can't get in either -- same error message.  System failure: ZimbraLdapContext

RequestURI=/service/preauth

This happens when trying to login to SmartZone email.  I also can't download my email with Outlook Express.  Comcast.net keeps asking for the password which indicates to me that the service is down.

Two nights in a row is unacceptable!!!  The board says there is a warning alert for email.  I don't know what a warning alert means????

Mine is working now - good luck - still don't know what the "warning alert" means.  VickieT

Re: having troble logging in on my e-mail says error 400 what do i do?

I have been getting the http:400 error for two days and have spent several hours on the phone with support.  I am past the point of being mad.  For the umpteenth time I have told a rep that if I am trying to log into Comcast.net to retrieve my email, the email client I have installed on my computer at home isn't the problem.  I have booted my pc 8 times, cleared cookies, etc. etc. even though I explain to them it won't help.  I ask them to try to get to my email and they get the same error but still try to get me to modify my system. So now sometimes it is a server problem and sometimes it isn't but it is never resolved.  The best was this morning when I asked for the update on the ticket that was 17 hours old and was told it was "Asssigned".  I was then told the problem was with servers and was "National" and to give them one more day and it should be OK.  Then she asked me to switch to Outlook Express and I asked her how that could help and what possible affect it would have on getting mail from their web site.  She got snooty and asked "Well then how can I help you".  Couple all of this "help" is the fact you have to suffer their stupid phone system with such pearls as directing you to their URL if you have internet problems - most of us who can get to urls don't call support.
