E-Mail and Xfinity Connect Help

i keep getting this error message in email:

mail.comcast.net : server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555

how do i fix it!

You don't, you wait for Comcast to upgrade their servers.

I'm getting this same error -- "mail.comcast.net server does not support RFC 5746 see CVE-2009-3555" in Thunderbird -- is Comcast doing anything to address the problem?

Thanks -- I read the post above mine and went to the other thread, and didn't feel like there was a complete response or any resolution, and the other thread also was talking about a different message, that's why I'm asking for something current and more responsive. Also, the other answers were from almost a year ago. 

Will someone from Comcast be giving a current response on this?

I suspect it's the same message, and the Thunderbird programmers simply reworded it during the year since that other thread.
