CISCO LINSKYS WRE4G

I recently purchased  CISCO LINKSYS WRE4G WIRELESS G-RANGE EXPANDER through Amazon.  A CD came with it that is absolutely useless.  There were no instructions what-so-ever to set it up.  I emailed Amazon and they suggested to return it.  I emailed seller through Amazon but the email told me to contact Amazon.  All I need are instructions and I can't get them through Amazon or the seller.  I do not want to have to return it if I don't have to.  I would appreciate hearing from someone that has the same Expander.  TIA.

Assuming that what you have is a WRE54G you can get info on it here.

You need to know which version that you have (1, 2, 3).

 

The user and installation guides are there for versions 1 and 2.
