Re: picture in Forums.comcast.com

Look at the toolbatr where you compose your post.  Do you see a little tree icon to the right of the chain icon?

That is the icon to use to insert a screen shot.

Re: picture in Forums.comcast.com

My toolbar looks like this, with the "Insert/edit image" icon circled:

    FrmEdtTlbr3.png

Some members don't have the Image icon -- I don't know why. I've had it as long as I can remember, OTOH my Strikethrough icon (ABC) disappeared late last year, and has just recently returned. Go figure!

One has to have 10 posts before the image icon shows up. If someone has more than 10 posts and the icon doesn't show up then there is a glitch.

It's really dumb to have to wait until the proper number of posts are reached before being able to insert an image.

Many times a screenshot would be more helpful than a written description when a new poster asks a question.

Re: picture in Forums.comcast.com

There is something you can try. May not help but might be worth a shot if you haven't done this already. Go to your settings. Preferences tab. UNCHECK Use the Rich Text Editor tab by default. Click Save. This gets rid of the toolbar. RECHECK it, hit Save. See if the icon appears. If not, we can report this to Larry.

Re: picture in Forums.comcast.com

Bj, As you know there hasn't been any activity at all regarding the 'ranks' since George left... Don't hold your breathe waiting for it to happen or suddenly be updated.  I gave up long ago.
