I have recently moved, and had to switch from U-verse to Xfinity. My apple TV which worked perfectly before will not connect to the Xfininty WiFi. I select the proper network and enter the long string of numbers and letters suppied by the installer. This worked fine for my iphone and ipad but I keep getting an error message from the apple TV. Thank you.

I have the same problem! My Apple TV now only shows "Computers" and "Settings." No iTunes store, Netflix, Apple Trailers, Radio, etc. Does Comcast not want customers to get content through the internet?

I'm having the same problem as well. Did you ever figure this out? I think it may have something to do with using a modem FROM xfinity vs. using your own.
I referenced this website: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1595 and under "not allowing wireless password" it said it may not accept a WPA or WPA-2 password which is what I think Xfinity uses on their modems.
Any thoughts?

I did figure it out. Log into the Comcast router and lower the firewall settings to permit the full functioning of the Apple TV.
