Everytime the phone rings I lose WIFI connections.

I am really unhappy with my service. Not only was the install less that stellar, and very terrible customer service... now I have a new issue. Every time the phone rings, we lose WIFI on iPhone, Wii and laptop. This is ridiculous. Have twenty different answers for that one Comcast? I am so ready to switch back to AT&T

Hello,
Your phone probably had some interferance with another wireless device. Try changine the channel the phone uses first. If that does not fix the problem, change the channel # that your Wireless Access Point uses.

Agreed your cordless phones are probably the el cheapo variety and are causing wireless interference.  I would replace them with decent DECT6 models which use a different frequency band.  You can try changing the wireless channel on your router, but the phones might still be leaking all over the place so it may or may not help.  Best to get rid of the problem.

Considering the price I paid for my "el cheapo" phone, I doubt that's the case. I don't even seethe option to change the channel. Also, I have one cordless phone that is a whole floor away from the modem. Any other options?

As Baric has suggested, have you tried changing the wireless channel that the ROUTER is operating on ?
