Laptop fine, desktop loses connection

 I have a Dell Latitude with an Intel N 6200 AGN and Dell Studio XPS with a DW 1525 wifi card. Both run Windows 7.  Laptop never loses connection but desktop loses every few minutes.  Wireless router is Netgear WNR 1000. 

 

Occassionally get virtual wifi miniport adapter error 31.  

 

Worked fine until 3 days ago.

 

Any suggestions?
