I just switched to Comcast from U-Verse,
My modem is from Comcast and has telephone service with it. It is an Arris TM722GCT. I did a speed test at speedguide.net and is show 31mbps. A lot faster than U-Verse was.
I hooked up my wireless router per the directions - turn off computer, turn off router, connect cables to router, modem and computer, press reset button on modem, wait 90 seconds, power up router, wait 90 seconds, power up computer.
Everything goes well and wireless works on devices for 30 minutes to an hour and then everything disconnects. I login in the the router, change a channel and everything works fine for another 30 minutes to an hour.
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I'm stumped at this point.

OP. For starters, have you tried accessing the router's interface and change the wireless operating channel ?
Disregard. I also overlooked your comment about this in your first post.

I've reset the modem and router, changed the channels, changed the security settings, and changed the MAC addresses. Same results each time.
My OS is Win7 Home Premium 64 bit.

You could check to see if there is a firmware update available for it at the manufacturers website.

That was the first item I did after connecting the router. I've solved the problem by taking the modem back to Comcast and getting the Dory Gateway with modem, wireless router, & telephone.
Thank you.

I hope that the gateway performs up to your expectations. Typically they are miserable devices with miserable Comcast crippled firmware loads.. Good luck with it !
