Can I sign up with comcast in apartment xxx and use the modem in a different apartment? I own a 20 apartment building.
Is it possible?

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

I'm sure it's possible. Comcast can't tell which apartment the modem is in, they're all connected to the same CMTS.
However, I doubt that it's LEGAL, unless the same Comcast subscriber is renting both apartments.

I believe its possible. I had moved clear across town a while back. I setup my pc's believing I wouldn't have internet access. But when I hooked up the modem, the online and link lights showed connection and I was able to get online.
