Signal Strength

I recently switched to Comcast from another carrier.  My WiFi signal is terrible. I am unable to pick up the signal on my smart phone in various rooms of my very small house.  I did not have this issue with the other carrier.  Is there any solution??

If you have a Comcast combo modem/router "gateway" device, be aware that the wireless signal is deliberately weak, among many other problems. See

The best option get yourself a quality router, call customer service to put your gateway in bridge mode, you'll see the same advice in the links above
