Hi! I'm having some trouble with my UPnP on my Xfinity sncd3gnv gateway. I"ve enabled the use of UPnP and also Zero Config, however, my Playstation 3 does not seem to reconize the UPnP. It simply states that the UPnP is "Not Available" whenever I run a connection test on the PS3 system. Now normally this is no issue as I have my PS3 set up on DMZ but some games, IE Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, simply will not work while signed into PSN unless UPnP is avaliable.
I've read a few things from other PS3 Users about this and most seem fault the firmware of the router the user is using. Is there a way to upgrade or downgrade my firmware on my SNCd3GNV gateway?
Thank you for your time.

The Comcast supplied gateways are notoriously bad at doing a lot of the simple things most users takle for granted. Only Comcast can push new firmware to them...
My advice:
Go buy a decent router, then call 1-800-363-2416, and ask them to put the gateway in Bridge Mode, so it acts like a modem, instead of a gateway.
