Hi. I have Vista on my desktop and laptop and my wife has XP on her desktop. I'm thinking of upgrading the laptop to Windows 7 but our network functions so smoothly now I'm afraid to tamper with it. I've read about problems Win7 has with XP on a network. Should I save myself the hassle and stay with what works or go boldly forward and risk catastrophe?
Thanks.

Hey bud. Good to see you ! But you have to post more details about your network. Are you using a router for your LAN or are you talkin' about using Windows ICS ? Either way, I don't see it being an issue.

I have several Win 7 machines on my network along with NAS devices, DNLA media sharing devices, XP and Linux desktops/laptops, and have no networking issues...

Hey EG, how're you?
My bad- I did leave out some important detail. I'm using a Linksys Wireless-G router (which I plan to upgrade soon) and I just bought a Belkin 802.11n Wireless USB Adapter for my wife's desktop. I read a couple of places about some networking problems Win7 has with XP. I'm at the age where I no longer feel like wrestling with operating systems to get them to play well together. I need to be confident that won't be necessary before I move up to 7.
