I have a new Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 and can't get a wireless connection to stay connected. I have read online that there are similar problems related to UPnP not being supported properly by the ISP. Is there something to this and how do I get it fixed?

Do you have a wireless router?
Are you sure that you are connecting to your own router rather than a neighbors?
How much distance is there between the computer and the wireless router?
Microwave ovens and Cordless phone bases operate on the same frequency as the Wireless router.
Do you have a cordless phone base sitting next to the Router?
Does the loss of connection relate to someone firing up the Microwave oven to heat up a cup of coffee?
