Apple said that their new iMac speed goes up to 3Mbps so with the Comcast speed Bump up to 4 Mbps does that mean when you buy the new iMac you want get the 4Mpbs that Comcast has or will their be a way to exceed the speed of 3 Mbps that apple say that the new iMac has.
I think you may be confusing the actual speed of the computer (measured in gigahertz) with connection speed (measured in Kbps or Mbps). I have an older 1GHz iMac, and I am routinely getting downloads at 3900 Mbps, which is extremely close to the 4 Mbps I am paying for. When the upgrade goes to 6 Mbps for the Gold Tier, I will receive the higher speed.
