So I recently began noticing severe performance issues after accidentally (somehow... I have no clue, really) installing the Xfinity Toolbar. The toolbar and the resulting popup advertisements that I get when browsing certain webpages are extremely annoying, but I can't figure out how to uninstall it on my Mac.
I've deleted everything on my computer that has Comcast or Xfinity in the file name, but the toolbar is still there if I bring up my toolbar menu.
Cam someone tell me how to get rid of this?

I don't know, but for someone else helping, which web browser are you using?

Are you using Firefox? I assume you must be as the only other major browser that supports 3rd party toolbars is IE, and there is no version of it currently available for the Mac. So click on "Tools", and then "Add Ons", and then you should see the Comcast toolbar as an extension. You can delete it from there. Look all the way to the right and you should see a tab that says "Remove".
