I would like to begin using my personal Comcast account to host some photos for occasional eBay listings. I currently use another ISP with which I'd like to end this function. If anyone currently does this and is familiar I'd appreciate help on the following:
1. What is the amount of storage that comes with my standard Comcast internet account (includes HDTV video)? The Comcast tech rep could not find that.
2. What is the amount of bandwith that Comcast allocates to each customer for hosting these and can it be incrementally increased?
3. Does Comcast create a host index page for the uploaded hosted photos that provides clickable links to sub folders and to the individual photos? In other words, if I open the "index page" I get a listing of sub folders and files that I can then click on to go to the photos, and then have the direct url shown that can be used in an eBay listing.
4. Does Comcast have a contact number for obtaining information on web hosting or for adding capacity?
Thanks!!!

1. 1 GB (all together; can be video)
2. no { bandwidth limits or capabilities } { advertised or shared or known }
3. no index page of contents; that feature is not enabled on the server and you cannot install your own scripts
4. no additional contact info; cannot add capacity; web pages are not really supported and could go away at any time
It sounds to me like you need a real web page hosting service. Comcast does not provide that for residential customers.
But you can enable your web pages, store files here, and have links to those files from eBay.
