Embedding links in my PWP...

I was able to upload a genealogical web page to a folder on my Comcast PWP. The link to this folder can be published on a page and cut and pasted into a browser for access. Is there any way to embed this link on my PWP to make it "clickable" so visitors can access the info directly?

Re: Embedding links in my PWP...

Yes.

In the PWP page editor, go to the page where you want to place the link.

Type the text you want to use for the link (text you want the person to click on).

Select that text (drag over it).

Click the link icon (the one that looks sort of like links in a chain).

In the panel that comes up, enter the complete link URL (what they would have need to copy and paste).

Save the connection, and save and publish the page.

Check that it works when accessed through a web browser. You may need to refresh the page.

I tried to do this (the steps to make a link), but when the box came up, I was unable to type into it.  Any suggestions??

Thanks,

That feature does not work in all browsers.  Try to do it with a different browser.  Should work in IE or Firefox.  Chrome seems to have a problem with it.

Thanks. It worked with IE on the PC, but it didn't work with Firefox or Safari on the Mac.
