Hello. I want to activate FTP service and was on this page;
http://xfinity.comcast.net/storage/
It says;
Activate Online Storage
However, there is no link labeled Account Management anywhere that I can find, not on that page and not on others. Any account link I do have has absolutely no options that say anything like Manage Personal Web Pages or Activate Personal Web Pages.
Can somebody please tell me exactly how to get to the place I need to be to activate my personal web space?

Hello,
1. Click on my account on top of the page.
2. Type username and password
3. Click on users & settings tab
4. Toward the bottom of the page you will see High speed internet settings option below it will say web page.
Click on the edit and turn it on.

Thank you for your help. I'm fine until I get to number 4 on your list. I can't see anything that links to High Speed Internet Settings or Web Page. Here's a link to a screen grab I took. I have to host it somewhere else obviously as I can't get FTP to work on Comcast yet.

Are you the primary account holder if so then you should be able to access it.? Did the primary account holder allow you access?

I am the primary account holder. It's not that I can't gain access, it's that I can't even find the location to attempt access.

The image you posted does not look like it's for a primary userid. You can use https://login.comcast.net/myaccount/lookup to find out what the primary ID is. If the ID you are using is primary, you need to call Comcast and ask them to fix your account.
The Users & Settings page for a primary userid should look more like this; I've drawn a box around the PWP settings:

OK, thanks for that image. That is helpful and not what I'm seeing at all. I guess I'll need to call. The absolute and only user ID on the acount is the one I'm posting here under, the same one I log in with so there's definitely a mix up somewhere. I'll call and get this straightened out tomorrow, guess I should have done it today but I just thought I was being dumb and missing it.

It was totally my fault. Even though my Comcast was up and running I was still connected to the internet through my FIOS router. It was my choice to use the fiber optic until my paid time period ran out. It seems as if you must be connected to the internet via Comcast to have those features pop up on the settings page. Once I plugged in my Comcast router the ability to activate my PWP was there and now I can FTP all I want. (Even while connected to FIOS.)
It was dumb of me not to think about trying that before posting. Thanks for your help.

I didn't realize that we needed to be using a Comcast connection for full access to "Account Management" aka "Manage My Account aka "Customer Central". Thanks for posting this information!
