This morning some of my websites (not all 7) stopped working. The URL switches from Comcast.net to XFINITY and the message says:
Sorry, we couldn’t find that page.
One example is: www.comcast.net/~designlk
Another is: www.comcast.net/~thekissingspot
Another one _does_ work: www.comcast.net/~kcc_rrr ---- so it's not the whole 7, just random ones.
They both worked a few days ago.

http://home.comcast.net/~thekissingspot/
http://home.comcast.net/~kcc_rrr/
www.comcast.net is not how you get to personal web pages

They got fixed by my closing down the Internet browser and starting it again. But why do you see that I shouldn't put in the address the way I always do, but you do not say how I should put it in. (I don't ever use http:/, so that did not create a problem.)

You said how not to put in the website address, not how to put in the address.

Webpages are on the server at home.comcast.net
www.comcast.net is the comcast web portal for news, TV, Sports, Account Info, etc.
To get to your webpages you need to use home.comcast.net/~username or http://home.comcast.net/~username/

I listed the URLs that worked. I could see those pages.
I then added a note about how to not to do it.
You need to have home.comcast.net before the slash - not www.comcast.net
