web page upload

I just created a new accountname  and used my own resources
to build a website including an index.htm and a few pages that link to index.htm.
All of this runs locally on my computer with no problem.  I ftp uploaded all of my files
to the new account.  When I access the new website with
http://accountname.home.comcast.net  my site is hyjacked to a Comcast add
"Coming Soon   If you are the owner of this site visit the site builder..."

If I use ftp://upload.comcast.net and sign into accountname in windows explorer mode I see
my 8 uploaded files.  If I click on index.htm my site and all links run perfectly.
So why can't I go the normal route of http://accountname.home.comcast.net?????

I have been managing multiple websites on Comcast for 10 years and never before have seen this.
Two calls to 888 824 4010 provided zero help.

Re: web page upload

Clear the cache/temporary internet files in the browser you are viewing the site with.  Then try the page.  Or force a refresh of the page by using the refresh/reload menu item on your browser.
