I just downloaded the Norton security system software from Xfinity. With it came the suggestion that I also download and install Constant Guard. I have a fairly up to date computer which handles almost everything with no reduction in performance but I've never seen anything slow down my system and mess up my settings like Constant guard. It changed logon procedures for everything, constantly popped up interfering suggestions and loaded several odd toolbars I didn't want or need. Also it kept popping up advertising for expanded versions and services to the point where I couldn't continue working. The only way I was able to get back to normal was to uninstall Constant guard and do a system recovery to before I installed it. Still I had to spend a couple of hours removing odds and ends to get my computer back. Needless to say I do NOT recommend this software to anybody and I strongly suggest that xfinity not offer it in the future.

Unless they fix the bugs. Though I don't recommend it either. You can still download and use Norton without Constant Pain. http://xfinity.comcast.net/constantguard/Products/
