As these questions come up a lot, so I thought I'd post the latest info I received from Norton:
"Comcast's NIS 4 for MAC works on Lion.
Two issues can occur:
1.The user will be asked to update their Java
2.Web protection in Safari will not work properly.
There are plans to release an updated MAC product for Comcast, but we cant provide an ETA at this time."

It does not run on Lion unless you reboot into 32bit mode. Lion runs mostly in 64bit mode. Try to run it in 64bit mode total failiure. Releasing this for Lion is way overude as the forthcoming Mountain Lion is out next month.
