Can someone please direct me to where I should go to find out information regarding the Malware problems that will be affecting internet users on Monday. I use IE 7 and can not use any of the scans that are available to get help for the upcoming Malware issues. Can someone please help me when I called Comcast for help the tech I spoke to said he wasn't even aware of this upcoming problem on Monday so that wasn't any help then I found a web site set up by the US Government but it would not scan my computer because I am using IE 7. FYI the reason I use IE 7 is because I am using Windows XP SP 3 and IE 8 causes a lot of shut down and freezes so I use IE 7. Sorry post is so long I just seem to not beable to find any site that I can get correct info from and my ISP which is Comcast was no help because as I stated above the tech stated he knew nothing about this Malware problem so I appreciate all and any help with this issue as I have only today to try and find out what I am suppose to be doing about this issue thank in advance anyone who can direct or help me with this issue

Sure right here:
Hope that works with IE7....Although, you could try downloading Firefox and try that:

From Comcast's FAQ - I also wonder why the tech did not know about this - this info has only been available for about a year.
Q. How can I tell if I'm still infected?
A. You can visit https://amibotted.comcast.net to see if you're still infected with The DNS
Changer bot, and others as well. You can also visit https://dns-ok.us to see if you're infected with the DNS Changer specifically.

<edit> Reply to UHFhd's edit: Note, do not ever make posts that do nothing to assist the OP with their problem - regardless of the status of that first cup of coffee! <edit>

Thanks everyone for replying. Let's see I pay almost 200.00 to comcast between cable and internet service but yet I had to ask the forumns for help and you all actually knew what I was talking about. I live on Cape Cod in massachusetts and we don't have any other cable company so yeah I stuck with comcast and all their great service ha ha. I suppose I could go to a dish but they have their own problems too. Thanks again for all your help everything checked out that my computer was fine but I'm not going to take that deep sigh until I actually get online tomorrow. Maybe I should put another post up about why I can't have IE 8 with windows xp sp 3. Maybe the forumns could give me better answers than microsoft or comcast or the 10 other computer experts and computer techs I have asked. Thanks again stay cool Peace and thank a vetern today!!
