I work from my home doing IT work.
I have a tool that I use with a secure SSL VPN site. The site is not compatable with Norton 6.
I have recently had to reformat my computer and I need to download NSS 5.2.1.3
Is there anyway to get this older version of NSS from Comcast?

You may be able to download NSS v 5 from here:
http://liveupdate.symantec.com/upgrade/Comcast/5.0
I do not know how old a version this might be (it appears to be 5.0) and as such, you will need to run liveupdate (rebooting when requesting) to get it current on 5.2.1.3. The last time I did this prior to upgrading to version 6 I had to go thru something like 11 reboots. You need to run liveupdate until it responds "no updates found" and then reboot one more time.
Also please bear in mind - if you use ID Safe you will not be able to Import a backup made in V 6 into V 5. Version 5 backsup ID Safe Data as an .npm file while Version 6 backs it up as a .dat file. The .npm can be imported into V 6, but the backwards compatability (v6 .dat to v5 .npm) does not exsist.
Please let us know how this works out as I have never had a request before to go backwards with NSS - I know it is possible to do with the commercial versions and I do believeit will work - as long as the link I provided is still active. If you get it downloaded - I would suggest you save it on your system in case it disappears at a later date and you need it again.

This was exactly what i needed. It has fixed my problem.
Thank you very much. I have saved the install file for future use.
