Norton PIN for use with Bootable Recovery Tool

I have downloaded the Norton Bootable Recovery tool and have attempted to run it.  It says that if I obtained Norton from my ISP I can use the Bootable Recovery Tool as long as I have the PIN for it.  Unfortunately, I don't know what the PIN is.  Anyone know where I can find the PIN to enter when I attempt to use the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool?

Re: Norton PIN for use with Bootable Recovery Tool

Your PIN number is stored in Norton Security_PIN.txt in the following location:

In Windows 7 or Windows Vista: C:\Users\username\Documents\Symantec\ Noprtopn Security_PIN.txt

In Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\Symantec\Norton Security_PIN.txt

I'm not sure where it is in Wndoews 8 - but I wold imagine in a similar locaton.

Let us know if this helps.

BTW, I am glad to see you got the correct Bootable Recovery Tool - for the ISP product.
