Virus in email sent to Comcast.net account

I mistakenly clicked on a link in an email sent to my comcast.net account that I'm pretty sure contained a virus. I opened the email and clicked on the link using my iPhone.  Will the iPhone OS protect me from the virus?

If the viruss was written for Windows, then yes. Note that the OS will not 'protect' you. You need an AV for that. I know they are available (free and paid) for Android devices, but don't know about iPhone devices. You'll have to check on that in the Apple App Store.

Nope no AVs available at Apples App store.... I guess Apple remains sure that there are no viruses for Apple products:smileysad::smileyshocked:
