This may be the wrong section for this.
Since I signed up with Comcast about 2 months ago I have been getting Caller ID messages popping up in middle of my tv screen. For the last month and a half it hasn't been too bad, but over the last week I seem to be getting 10-15 per night. All of the calls are from out of my area, they say Michigan and have numbers for the Ann Arbor area which I live about 2 hours away from. Most importantly, I DO NOT HAVE PHONE SERVICE THROUGH COMCAST or any home phone service at all.
Is there a chance my DVR is still programmed for a previous owner who did have triple play and is this a problem I might be able to solve myself?

its a good possibility the box is still provision from the last customer. You can call 1-800 - comcast to have them unprovision to your acct. Also you can goto
Menu> Interactive TV (iTV)> Caller ID>
There you can turn this feature off
