Ive seen many other messages that the update doesn't work. I had the same problem, but in addition, I can't close the dialog error box without my entire computer jamming.
How do you UNINSTALL the caller ID -- it's obviously not worth having it.

Same thing happen to me this morning..
Hit ctrl, alt, delete to stop the program...that will get rid of update screen...
Then go to control panel/programs and delete the program Comcast caller ID...
Go to their web site and download the new version....make sure when the screen pops up to open/save file....do not choose open(will not work properly)...save it to your desktop...then run the file from there...it should install new version..
Good luck..

I also have had trouble with the update, it's freezing some of my programs I believe, as it is the only thing I have updated yesterday. Will try to delete using controls, and download newer version. Thanks!

This did not work on either of my computers. Still says login failed. Another one of Comcast's failed improvements.

Does anyone know where I'd find the update as downloaded to my computer so I can delete it?
