Login failed

I updated Universal Caller ID and now it disconnected and I can't log back in.  I get the message that "login failed."  Any suggestions?

Re: Login failed

Obviously this update is severly broken.  It seems to be happening to everyone.  It's fairly obvious that this release was not well tested.  Grrrr......

Re: Login failed

Once I downloaded the "upgrade" to allow caller ID to pop up on my computer, it does not work. It will not activate.  Frustrating!  Hope Comcast will address this.  I see several posts so I know I'm not unique.

Re: Login failed

I am having the same trouble, I upgraded to the new version and now it doesn't work.  The old one worked all the time.

Re: Login failed

Today all logins are failing!

Worked  yesterday; Updating was no problem to new version 3.1.28  (windows 7 x64).

The big issue:

I have two phone-lines, updated to new version, now notification Pop-ups & sound only work on line 1

Older version of caller ID worked flawless on both lines, for the past few months.

IMHO the new interface (pop up box) is larger than the previous version (NOT good) and rather "ugly.. :smileysad:"

Re: Login failed

Same thing with me...The old version worked for me, but the new one is crappy. I had to long in every few minutes yesterday and today won't log in at all. Said " Service is unavaible"

Re: Login failed

As the number of posts proceeding me...login failed continues to happen...FRUSTRATING! Continuously

Comcast continues to disappoint and when you contact customer service it takes makes times to fix the problem.

This feature as updates are made...problems persist. I think if this is a feature that Comcast offers, when customers have problems there should be some compensation to the users. Especially since the number of posts continue to be made and most importantly the problem needs to be taken care of.

Frustrated CUSTOMER!

Re: Login failed

"Sorry, an error has occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."

I uninstalled Adobe Air, re-downloaded the Caller ID Update file from Comcast.com, rebooted, re-downloaded Adobe Air, tried again and no go.

Now what???

Is the update a beta version????

Re: Login failed

Today I could make it work, but it wouldn't load automatically at startup I had to  manually run it.   Can't get it to a place where I can check which boxes I want on the first screen where you can tell it to run on computer  start up.

Re: Login failed

Has Comcast been able to resolve this issue for you? If so how? Same problem and Comcast hasn't been able to resolve yet. have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and keep getting same message; damaged installation file contact author.

Re: Login failed

The issue has resolved itself over time.  I re-installed it and then was able to get it to start up automatically when the computer boots up.  It occasionally drops out during my computer use but comes back a few minutes later.  So it is working for me now.

Re: Login failed

Well, it's still not working here, even after the latest update just pushed to us last week.  It stays on line for a few minutes, then drops out, over and over and over again.  Oh well...
