I am having the same issue... it just suddenly stopped working a month or so ago... we tried resetting the box, but even though it says Caller ID is on, its not appearing on the tv screen :smileysad:

There's only two options, if a power cycle of the cable box doesn't bring back the UCID function, then call Comcast and they will need to review the codes on your account and restore it.

I have had the same problem a few different times and had to go into the set up menu and turn it back on, even if it says that it is on turn it off and wait a couple of minutes then turn it back on.

Caller ID has not worked for several months.  Tech said I need a new cable box; got it, still not working.  Can't set up on my PC either.    Do I need a new modem, too?  Any recommendations for modem?  I'm paying "rental" for over 2 years now, should have just purchased one.

I am also having problems with caller ID, sometimes it works & sometimes not, it hasn't worked on my computer for at least a month now & I can't change anything on it, it said it was on snooze before, but I never did that. Nothing ever works right for me with comcast!
