Uninstall the Comcast PC Caller ID. It doesn't work. I want if off the hard drive.

Go to Add Remove Programs and uninstall it. It's listed as Xfinity Caller ID.
That's the only way you will get it off your computer. What do you expect Comcast to do to get rid of it?
You or someone put it on your computer. You are the one who will have to make it go away.

Perhaps it has not been implemented in your area yet.
I am in the Houston area and just tried it but it is not working (yet).
I don't think the service is available yet.

It doesn't seem to be working in the Seattle area yet either.

On another post I reported this was not working on my PC (Pittsburgh, PA). The problems started when Comcast sent out a new version of the PC Called ID. Many other people are complaining throughout the country. I previously have been using the older version for 2 years. In the last couple of days, I have been disconnected on my PC at least a dozen times. I think Comcast is now ignoring the complaints since they don't seem to have a solution. Apparently they also don't know how to go back to a version that is working. Apparently no backup!
