My caller id on the tv is not working. What should I do? I tried the interactive tv setting but still does not work. What's next?

Call 1-800 comcast you pay them more then enough to fix the problem.

step 1, power cycle the cable box. Unplug for 2 minutes, then power it up and test in 1 hour.
If that doesn't do it, then contact Comcast support. As a note, it's been broken for many in the last month, or is only working on one box in the house.

Contacted comcast on Friday. It is Sunday night and my TV will still not show caller ID of people calling. I guess I keep waiting!

Comcast service reports problems with caller-id on TV. They are working on problem. Comcast won't tell you this unless you bug them about it

They called and said to unplug everything at midnight and plug it back in to reset. Did that and checked this morning to see the results....no change.

Both Caller ID and On Demand haven't worked on my TV for a few weeks now. I tried all the "at home" tricks of unplugging the box and making sure all the settings didn't mysteriously change one day. I figured I would check the internet for answers first. So I guess I have to call. Oh boy.
