When I click on "update" Comcast Universal Caller ID, an error messge comes up stating there is mis-configuration, and contact application author. What can I do, or can you update, remotely?

update popup has been on my computer screen for over a month and will not go away. Update only reports error on each try. I have registered this problem by phone and messages many times with no satisfaction. I get phone calls asking if the problem has been resolved, but the response has never helped. Is there any hope that this may be fixed in the near future? I would appreciate any help in this matter.
