Another "No Frame for top Level Folder" Post

We too are having this issue and have a tech visit scheduled for tomorrow, which I'm guessing may be fruitless. I have printed out several emails indicating that this may be a coding issue where somewhere along the line there is a breakdown and our files aren't correct. Hopefully, the tech will be able to relay our concern and this will get resolved.

The reason I'm posting here is that I'm basically appalled that I'm finding so many threads on this issue going back well over a year and there's no fix in from Comcast and that the CSR aren't able to immediately identify this issue and initiate the proper resolution.

Frankly, if I were the guys on the Comcast Cares Team, I'd be getting upset at all the referals they are getting as it seems that this should be a simple CSR issue.

I'll update after tomorrows visit.

youi are correct your issue is a coding issue that does not require a tech visit but you will be charged for it, the tech will come to your  home see your issue call CS and get your account coded correctly and leave.  this can all be done over the phone by you if you are diliginat enough.

And yes those we can care folks are really busy

We won't be paying for any service call. It's not our fault comcast can't install their system properly.

all I am saying is that a tech visit will not help, if you call and have a tech visit you will be charged.  You are responsible for anything inside your home.  You might think your not going to pay for it but, unless you have the maintenance plan you will be charged and you will have to fight with comcast to get that charge removed.

One thing you can consider is adding the in-home premises plan ($3.95/month) that covers the visit and anything that goes awry inside.  Yeah - extra money but does pay for itself after one visit.

I agree 100% about the folks coding accounts properly.  However, even when I had a Comcast employee on these forums (name in 'red') tell me what the phone agents needed to do or look for ...... they were CLUELESS.  A gazillion (or at least 6) calls and I gave up and opted for the tech.
