I just received a new HD box, but my VOD is not working. I neglected to have the technician test it out before he left. I get the following error message CMOD 54001 when on go to channel 299. When I go to channel 1 I get the following message No Frame for Top Level Folder and only get the About On Demand and no Listings. I did call support and they had me reboot my box and still no go. I then called again and they stated that it takes 24-48 hours for the box to register. I know for a fact the box can be up and running if the technician calls the home office and it synched with the servers. I would appreicate if some one can get this resolved asap.

The error usually means that comcast does not have your account set up correctly with the new box and on demand. All those codes need to be added to your account to make it work. You need to call them back and have them make sure the box is registered and the codes for on demand are on your account.
