The Syfy series 'Fact or Faked Paranormal Files' is currently airing NEW episodes WEEKLY. The series WAS on VOD and ADDING new episodes WEEKLY. The ERROR is the series was WRONGLY/mistakenly/accidently REMOVED from VOD.
This is my saved list that I was using to mark off and add to. As you can see, the series is SUPPOSE to STILL be available on VOD.
- 217 "Battleship UFO" (Ends 06/19)
- 218 "Reptile Rampage/Gasoline Ghoul" (Ends 06/26)
- 219 “Glowing Gargoyle/Phantom Feline” (Ends 07/25)
- 220 “Florida Woodland UFO/Black Forest Entity” (Ends 07/25)
This "NEW" series is SUPPOSE to be CURRENTLY available on VOD, and was until someone screwed up...
This IS a Comcast issue... My neighbor has FiOS and of course they STILL have the series available on their VOD.
Put 'Fact or Faked' BACK on VOD.

The same thing happened to Battlestar Galactica, the HD versions anyway.

Can Comcast Joe/Eric/Nick please resolve this error?
This series is suppose to be up and available right now and it's not anymore.

A mutli billion dollar mega company and no help/support provided...
For a nation wide help/support forum there's like only a few official Comcast forum staff and they aren't even active...

on demand is not to be used like a dvr, you cannot expect every episode to be there forever that is not its purpose. comcast wants you to rent a dvr, the network wants you to buy the dvd's, you will always be disappointed if you try to use on demand like a dvr. That is why shows come and go. If you want to be able to see all episodes of a show when you want rent a dvr.

I do already know and understand that, but you didn't read/understand my thread...

I agree with you, I wasnt thrilled when I went to go back and check to see if I had seen last weeks episode or not and it was completely gone! And I have a DVR, but I have so many other things I record that they dont put VOD that I dont have time for that one too.

Wow, I just love how Comcast staff have viewed this section and replied to other threads...
SEVEN days and we're still waiting for an answer to why this series has been MISTAKENLY removed from VOD...
The help and support here is so lacking... I can see that the staff is just completely overwhelmed with the XfinityTV Website section and all the freaking errors people are getting with their buggy services.
Why doesn't each forum section have DEDICATED staff...? Comcast is run so slow and inefficiently...

I too was greatly, greatly disappointed to see this removed suddenly, mid season of the series. I want it resolved, asap. I pay a darn ton of money for this cable service.

Hey thank you guys for replying to CONCUR with this ERROR. I hope more fans post to get this error RECOGNIZED by Comcast staff.
And of course this IS a Comcast issue... My neighbor has FiOS and of course they STILL have the series available on their VOD. Comcast has the worst VOD system. Did Comcast CUT the VOD operations job to save MORE costs...?

This is part of the reason I was iffy about going to Comcast in the first place.. Now having had so many issues over the past month from install to this current debaucle of removing half the shows I watch On Demand I think I'm just going to switch over to Fios. Which is exactly what I should have done in the first place.

Sorry that someone didn't respond to this thread sooner. I've asked the VOD team to look into this and will let you know what I hear.

Episodes 220-224 are showing up now and are available until 7/25.

Thanks, that's good news, but episodes 217-219 were also part of the wrongly removed.
