I just moved from Direct TV to Comcast with a bundled package and can't complain overall as the internet is faster, the phone works and for the most part the TV has been fine. For the last month however i have had this message come up when i try use Comcast ON Demand "error retrieving data - request failed. please try again. if problem continues please call your cable operator. Reference CL-14" when calling. apparently this is normal although I havent seen anyone else use the same error code. i have sound and when i leave it for a few minutes it diverts back to the main tv guide menu. Anyone else had this happen?

This is a low level communication failure. If retries don't work, call 1-800-COMCAST.

OnDemand requires 2-way communications. When they installed your service, they should have run an OnDemand demo video that not only verifies that OnDemand functions, but tells you how to use it.
