I am unable to view any On Demand - I've tried free movies, Streampix, pay movies. I get this same error. I cannot find this error in the "error code list" here, so I don't know what to do. I've tried calling (on hold for 45 minutes and still no answer) and I've tried chatting (10 minutes waiting for analyst to sign on). I'm figuring something's up, which is why they're slammed, but I'm hoping someone knows what this error might be.
Again, it's ERR 117.

usually I have seen error 7 or cl7. That can be a signal issue, problem with a wire, or splitter,.. I can also be your account not having the right code for you to get on demand. Only comcast can fix that. Has this ever worked for you?

Wow. This has happened to me 4 times in the past year. Each time I call, I am promised that "it'll work in 10 - 20 minutes." And, of course, it is not fixed. This is a COMCAST problem. I pay for services, including free ONDemand. Not being provided these services for days at a time is more than inconvenient. If I choose not to pay Comcast for days after my due date, my services are cancelled. What, exactly, does Comcast do when they fail to provide services to its customers? Not a thing.
This is extremely frustrating. ERR-17 is an ongoing issue that Comcast needs to fix!
