Xbox XfinityApp Error Code 808

Just added Blast HSI to my existing Digital TV plan and trying to setup the Xfinity xbox app but get the

808 error code.

Any way to resolve this without sitting on hold?

Dont bother calling in they won't be able to help you. 

 

Do you meet all these requirements.?

 

To watch XFINITY TV directly on your Xbox 360 you need the following:

 

-XFINTIY TV (Digital Starter w/ a On Demand STB connected to at least one TV in the house.)

-XFINITY Residential Internet Service (Business Class not eligible)

-An Xbox 360 console and Xbox LIVE Gold subscription

-A D2 or D3 modem (see http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/ for a list of supported modems)

-XFINITY TV App installed (the XFINITY TV App is available from the Xbox Marketplace)

-The primary account holder's Comcast ID or Comcast.net address and password (make sure entire e-mail address is entered)

Just to confirm you do not have a business account?

You do have xbox live gold?

You have on demand and it works on at least one set top box.

You are trying to login with the primary account holders credentials?

 

If the answers to all of that are yes, are you trying to use this hard wired or wireless?

Ok lets try this.

 

What cable box and what modem do you have.  Also 808  errors are most of the time related to a rate code missing on your account.   comcast is going to have to fix this for you.  I don't know if you will get much traction on fourth of july though

Cable boxes are a DCX3400-M and 2 DCX3200-M

Modem is SB 6121

 

Called the 877-599-1846 number and was on hold long enough for the cordless phone battery to die and drop call before I could switch phones.

holidays are tough.  9-5 m-f is the best time to call.   You have 3 dvr's with full on demand access so I assume you can wait to get this working.  I also don't know if you are aware but the offerings on the xbox app are not as robust as those on your cable box.
