Hi,
I subscribe to HBO and Showtime. Using the Xfinity app on the Xbox360 I have no issues with accessing HBO content, but I get a 2400 error when trying to view Showtime content. I get a subscription required error message.
I am able to access showtime content via the xfinity.com website, so it's a little confusing as to why it doesn't work on the xbox.

Instead of starting a new post, I would like to bump this thread because I am having the same problem. I subscrine to HBO and Showtime but I get a "Subscription required" message when trying to access Showtime while HBO works fine. Both of them work when I access them through the web browser.

I have also run into this issue. But not with my premium channels, rather mine is with the standard cable stations like Cartoon Network, Comedy Central (or any "cable" category station). I get the error 2400 as well and have been told that since this is a new product it may take some time to get any resolution.

The xfinity customer service person I spoke with regarding my issue was polite about telling me that it would definitely be more than 24 to 48 hours and that since it was a new app and a new issue that there was no way to really tell me. I would think they have done a beta release but this is the first xbox app I have had a consistent issue with.

Thanks. Has anyone heard anything new regarding this issue? I got a call from Comcast and they said they wanted to fix it. I ended up being transferred to 2 other departments and they still had not idea what the problem is. I'm back at where I started now.

So did anyone ever get this working? I cancelled my showtime until this issue is resolved.

Our team tried contacting you three times and left a message. Did you not get it? Did they not call? The phone number that was called is the number we have on your account.

They sure did call me and left a voicemail. I called back and although the ticket was opened, I was unable to get it resolved. I got bounced around to the internet and cable department because I guess they had no idea who handles this issue. After a couple hours of going back and forth on the phone, I got disconnected. I cancelled Showtime because of this and I added Starz. Starz is working fine on the Xbox app but I do plan to order Showtime again once it's working.

I dont understand this at all. Either it all works or it doesnt which is it? I can hardly get mine working on the Xbox 360 app.

Any updates on this? I cannot watch MTV episodes or Starz movies on the Xbox Xfinity App....This is really starting to get annoying. I was on the phone earlier today with no resolution and I find no solutions online anywhere. Not even here on the support forums.
Comcast, I'm pretty sure with everyone having the same issues you must've narrowed it down somehow... I meet all the requirements. I am able to watch MTV episodes through the box as well as Starz. My other premium, HD subscriptions work through the Xfinity App on Xbox just fine...
Please give us an idea of what is going on...thanks....

Wow I'm just reading all the post that everybody posted about Showtime, HBO, and MTV not working on the Xbox 360. I was shocked to see that I wasn't the only going threw the exact same problem. I have actually canceled all of them HBO, Showtime, ENcore, it was very annoying. That stuff on xfinity that works wasn't stuff that I wanted to watch. I'm really not happy, I feel I got played.,

Can someone tell me why I'm not able to access Showtime on my Xbox? I keep getting error code 2400 saying that I'm not subscribed to Showtime, when I am. I see this problem has popped up a couple of times on the message boards. Anyone has a solution?

I just ordered it yesterday and didn't check the cable box. But I was able to watch it on my laptop fine. And I'd be fine with just that, but my laptop is old and gets hot, so I prefer it on the XBOX.
