im trying to setup the Readable Voice mail Notifications but i keep getting an 'There was a problem saving' error msg when i try changing any settings. the other day i was able to add an email address but anytime i click the 'Send transcript' or 'Send voicemail' checkbox (i want both options checked) i got the same error and the checkbox clears. today i got an email alerting me that there was a voicemail and it said how to enable transcripts. so i tried again but now most of the time it gives me the same error when trying to add an email back in and if i do get it to add the email as soon as i click either of the send checkboxes i get the same saving error and it removes my email address. ive tried doing this on 2 different computers and in both IE and firefox so im pretty sure its not my computer/browser.
as i was typing this my caller id app disconnected again. the caller id app is constantly disconnecting with the error msg's below. i dont have any connectivity issues with any other program other than the comcast caller id app. in January my caller id app stopped working completely and after 2 unsuccessful live chats with comcast i had to have ComcastSteve do something with my account to get it working again.

I just go the phone service with comcast and setup everthing from vvmail, texting caller ID on the tv, pc and ipad works.
I have followed the readable voicemail instructioins and i am stuck with the #4 on the instructions for notifications in the preference tab to be able to enter the email notification box
without #4 i can not get to # 5 enture your email into the email notification box, or #6 check send trancsripts via email
the customer care rep. tried to do also and could not find the information either. She just
opened a tier 2 service ticket
i read your comments to the other comcast user that you are having problems on the back end service.
Could you provide assistance or do i need to wait for someone to look at my service ticket??

on the 13th i tried setting up the text msg over mobile app for my home phone. as soon as confirmed it i got a msg saying the account had to be setup and i would get an email when i was completed. i was then disconnected from the internet and got the comcast self activation page. it wouldnt let me activate it saying it couldnt connect to the comcast servers so i clicked the online help/chat and they activated it. today i woke up and my internet on the same arris modem was completely disconnected and this time i didnt get the self activation. i have 2 modems/internet services in my house. YES I DO HAVE/PAY FOR 2 MODEMS AND 2 SEPARATE INTERNET SERVICES THEY ARE NOT ROUTERS.
i called comcast and was told that i shouldnt have 2 modems in my house (first time ive been told this). he basically told me that there was no record of me ever having or paying for 2 separate internet services and couldnt do anything. ya i know it comcast was giving me free internet for 6 months. now thats funny. i have a triple play with 1 of the internet services on my arris and then i have ultra or whatever they changed the name to on my ubee. he told me that there are were no work order changes on my account and he talked to floor support and they said they couldnt provision it. so now i dont have the internet service on the arris and he said my bill is the same price. im so friggin annoyed. if i knew the text over mobile app had to actually change my account i would not have done it. anytime i do anything with comcast it is a nightmare. they have to be the most incompetent company of all time. i guess it should be expected when a company's reputation is so bad they have to try to change their name to a dumb name like xfinity. all i want my account back to how its been for the past 6 months before someone screwed it up and i have no clue what to do.
