Voice Mail WAV attachments no longer arriving with message transcripts

The last message I got with a WAV attachment was on 6/4/2012. Thinking gmail was blocking WAV attachments I added another email address but still just receiving the trans script, no attachments. Let's face it, the acuracy of voice mail transcripts are pretty bad. It's usually impossible to figure out the content without opening and kistening to the actual message. Anybody having the same issue or have a fix? Bob BTW, If you are having trouble adding an email address to the voice mail forwarding page make sure you use only lower case letters. Apparently Comcast doesn't realize upper case letters as valid (ummm, they are!) and displays a Red message asking you to "enter a valid email address". Funny, I wonder how long that's been broken and gone un fixed.....

Re: Voice Mail WAV attachments no longer arriving with message transcripts

I am having the same problem - no wav attachments arriving with the voicemail transcripts. It is so much easier to listen to the wav file than to log on to to Comcast.net to listen to the message.  And as EspressoBob said, the quality of the transcriptions is not great.  The settings are correct on my voicemail preferences page - send wav file as an attachment is checked.
