Voice Mail

My phone will not accept voicemails.  This is what the phone says:   "The mailbox number you are trying to reach is not in service, goodbye."

My phone works fine otherwise.

are  you talking about the mobile app from comcast, or the VM from your service proider?  People here probably can't assist with your ATT or verizon vmail.

I am talking about my voicemail on my land line provided by Comcast.

What to set up voicemail and recording comes on mailbox # tryging to reach not in service.

If you subscribe to the phone service "Local With More" that Comcast offers in some areas, you will not automatically have vm on your line. However, if you subscribe to their regular phone service and cannot set up or access vm, this is something only a customer service representative can fix. You have to call 1-800-COMCAST.
