Current EMTA Devices

Anybody know the current compatible EMTA devices that are approved by Comcast for use for the Digital Phone Service in Georgia, want to buy instead of rent as I'm in a 2 year contract?

There is only one choice and it is not nationwide.  Some market area's have it and some don't.

 

There are select Best Buy's with Comcast Connection Centers in them listed HERE.  These Best Buy's sell Arris TM722G eMTA's at retail and then the Comcast rep setups the installation.  If there is no local location to you, that means this retail eMTA is not available to you.  The eMTA sells for $150, then add the cost of Comcast installation.  Look for the Comcast rep hanging out in the TV dept.

 

Even though this list is updated, there has been some Connection Center closings so it is not 100% accurate.

Actually my local Comcast let me self-install mine and they also stated I could purchase my own and install it and save the rental fee.
