I don't have power on my phone, just says CONNECTING... and it's been like this since this morning.No incoming or outgoing calls. I've checked on my other phones and just the does just the same.

I assume your using a cordles phone and that the handset is not finding the base. Follow the directions in the phone's manal for the base to reconnect with the handset, including unplugging the AC power on the base.
