Annoying problem at home right now. On all outbound calls, we hear a "double ring" and it is driving my wife insane. As the focal point to her frustrations, I would greatly appreaciate any assistance.
I have searched and found ECHO issues, but since we do not hear an echo during calls, I have dismissed this as the issue. it is only during the ring when this takes place.
I have attempted restarting the modem (pulled battery first), but not sure what else I can do to self-tune the ARRIS modem.
Thanks in advance!

Steve,
Thanks for letting support know, but wanted to fill you in on what has happened since.
So shortly after you posted this, I got a call from Comcast support in my local area (No. VA). They instructed us (gave us a tounge lashing if you ask me) that we should not have posted the problem to the boards, but should have contacted them directly. They then said that they would address the issue.
After that call, nada. Nothing. Zippy. Still have the issue, and now I have local support ticked off because I am using alternative methods of gaining assistance.
I was hoping to save the cost and hastle of a truck roll, but guess that is the only next option. Double Ugh.

What did you ever find out about your double ring? I have noticed the same thing, but only on the first ring.
