My phone number was ported on July 24. We do not have Comcast phone service! Now I am left to figure all this out. I was told to call my phone co. after speaking to comcast customer Service. Unclear why as comcast ported the number.

I have spoken to Comcast and Century Link again today. Comcast rep said error was made as there was no phone service transfer. Century Link is charging 31.00 to rehook up our phone. Comcast has said they will reimburse the 31.00 after it has been charged. I could not get an answer from the rep if Comcast plans on reimbursing us for the 10 days with no phone service. We are supposed to be hooked up by Wednesday Aug. 1. We will wait and see. I have sent this by email over and over to cust. ser. at comcast and have a number but no one has responded for a week.
