I am in the process of exporting my phone service from Att to Comcast. Today is day number 6 in the process and I still do not have phone service, I've made numerous calls to Att and Comcast trying to get this resolved. Initially I was told by Comcast that Att wouldn't release my number. Att said the number was free to be ported to Comcast. Back and Forth, back and forth, I've gone. Today I spoke with "Liz" at Com. said she would arrange a conference call with Att, left me on hold for one hour. I called back and was told by another party that my order was sent and would be fixed tomorrow; not trusting this info I called again and was told by someone else that my Att phone was through the internet and had to be separated from my internet acct at Att. Why did it take all this time to figure this out? And of course now the dept I need to contact at Att is closed for the day. Tomorrow, will I have phone service? Has Comcast never transferred an acct from ATT Uverse?
