When using internet explorer 9 some of the articles on Xfinity home page does not work. It goes into retriving aurorization and never plays. I would like to change internet explorer to IE 8. Does anybody think that will
work then? So how do I change to IE8?

Have you tried clicking the compatability view button? IE 8 will most likely have the same problem.

I used to be a avid IE user, I just gave up though finally.
Just to annoyng & problem plagued.
